Hi, Serial keys are not used for App Store purchases, it’s a different authentication system that we do not have control of. When a user purchases an app from the App Store, we don’t get their name or email address, nothing at all, so we simply don’t know who has purchased, or when.
Even if we did know, Apple does not currently provide a method for giving upgrade discounts on the App Store.
If you buy directly from us, we have complete control, and can offer discounts, offers, site licenses, or whatever, for what ever price we want.
