digitalatom asked: I have been using Flux for a few months now and I think it's a great software product for designing static sites. As a designer I am alway looking for solutions to build dynamic sites easily for my clients without learning serverside development e.g php.
So my question is do you see Flux being an all in one development suite? from the design aspect of Xhtml & Css to the dynamic capabilities of php? I have seen a plugin site called web assist and they create modules that link in with Dreamweaver, they have a "Dynamic Suite" if something like this could be integrated into Flux it would be a designers all in one package for building complicated sites without the need of understanding server side languages.
I doubt we’d get to the point of not having to learn PHP *at all*, but certainly Flux 4 will be better suited to incorporating server side code than Flux 3. We will have some features to make editing PHP a little easier, but so far we’re not planning any features to totally abstract away the server side language.
Personally I think it’s best to learn a little PHP if you can, you’ll likely find it easier than you think to integrate with Flux.
