I have decided to just put an under construction page up for the time being... The site is unfortunately hosted by Mr. Site and I am not sure if that is why I am having problems...
I have saved the page, the extension is .html and uploaded it using Filezilla to the wwwroot folder. However after speaking to Mr site they have told me to save it as a .htm file, I have done this and it still does't show when I check in my browser.
Any ideas?

Are you sure you have correct permissions on your index.htm file? Maybe the web server (I assume Apache) cannot read the file. Can you direct me to your site, and I’ll take a look?
